When All Is Lost
When all is lost, pray for peace.
Pray for kindness.
Pray for the anger to subside.
pray for forgiveness.
Pray for the ability to forgive.
But above all else, pray for peace.
This is not a contest,
there are no scoreboards here.

Pray for an understanding.
Pray for strength.
Pray for the ability to accept.

What I learned for growing in my faith as a Christian is that praying to God should be the first thing that we do when we need help rather than resorting to it as a last resort.
